Live from Christian Youth Theater: Tampa Bay, it’s Monday night!

Inspired by the fast-paced world of television sketch comedy, Monday Night Live is the ultimate creative laboratory for teens ages 13–18. This "page-to-stage" class mimics a real late-night comedy show, taking students through the entire production pipeline.
Throughout the session, students will collaborate in a high-energy writers' room to pitch concepts, draft original scripts, and develop memorable, larger-than-life characters. From there, they will step onstage to master the mechanics of comedic acting—focusing on physical comedy, deadpan delivery, and the flawless comedic timing required for live performance.
Operating under the philosophy that the best comedy is smart, clever, and uplifting, Monday Night Live challenges older students to push their creative boundaries, sharpen their writing skills, and discover how to use humor to bring joy and community to their audience.
