Kathy Leone was raised in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2010. She started dance training at the age of 2 and continued throughout high school and college. In high school she performed in and choreographed four musicals (My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Carousel), served as the co-captain of the cheerleading team, and choreographed first place pieces for the Student Dance Association in her junior (jazz) and senior (overall captain) years. In college she performed with Arts House Dance Company at the University of Pennsylvania, studying under professional teachers in Philadelphia and choreographing multiple pieces during her four years on campus and for two years after graduation. She also took classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC for several years during and after college. The highlight of this experience was tapping next to Savion Glover during one of his master classes. Kathy has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Education from New Jersey City University. She is a certified teacher and administrator and has served as a teacher and administrator in public and private schools since 2001. She has been an active member of Northwood Community Church for many years and has enjoyed teaching students in Awana. She loves Jesus and believes that the purpose of everything is to bring Him glory. Dancing has always been her happy place and she is excited to share that passion with the students at CYT.

Lorna has been in education for over 20 years and is a highly dramatic person. Her theater inspiration is Macaulay Culkin whose rendition of Kevin McAllister redefined independence for multiple generations.

Nani McClure is so grateful to be part of the CYT family. Her journey with this ministry began as a student in Aladdin Jr., and it was through the joy of watching her younger siblings shine on stage that she fell in love with teaching. She has since had the privilege of serving three productions as a teaching assistant — supporting students backstage and on Monday nights. With a background rooted in years of school theater across acting, singing, and dance, as well as extensive vocal and acting training, Nani prays she brings both experience and a heart for service to her teaching. She believes deeply that every child is uniquely gifted by God, and her greatest joy is walking alongside students as they discover and grow into those gifts. She is honored to serve your family this season!

Born and raised in Nashville TN, but now residing in Lakeland FL, Owen grew up performing as a kid surrounded by theatre. He began his training at CYT Nashville where he was a part of many shows and productions which ended up persuading him to pursue a college degree in the arts . So, now being a senior at Florida Southern College, earning his BFA in Musical Theatre Owen has been a part of upwards of 30+ shows and is a true advocate for bringing the fine arts to everyone. From working both backstage and on the stage he tries to bring all his knowledge to understand each aspect that puts a show together. Owen is still actively in the audition business constantly submitting reals to companies and shows, so he very much knows what it takes to be both a strong performer whilst trying to glorify the Lord. He is very happy to step in and help provide guidance and knowledge to the kids as they begin their career and training learning how to do it ALL FOR HIM!

Samantha joined CYT Tampa Bay in it's inaugural year for their first full length production, Willy Wonka Jr. Samantha soon proved to be a vital part of the CYT community and dove head first into volunteering. She started working as the Show Coordinator in 2025. Samantha leads and organizes each CYT Tampa Bay production with zeal and tenacity. She has a passion for seeing students shine for Jesus through musical theater.

She has performed professionally with such groups as Adirondack Liturgical Dance, Rebecca Kelly Ballet, Gleich Dances UK, and Six Flags New England, and is currently a performer with Nolan's Spectacular Productions. Sierra feels dance has always brought her closest to Jesus, and currently works as the Dance and Show Director for Classical Christian School for the Arts in Pinellas Park.
